I make poor life decisions, and a small gaming girl rant

You may have noticed inactivity on this blog recently. There’s a very simple reason for that. I resubscribed to World of Warcraft.

I’d like to say the other reason is that I’ve finally got some job interviews, which is true (yay!), but WoW has been taking up the larger chunk of time.

But today I’m here to rant a bit more about being a girl gamer because it’s been a little frustrating.

Most of my old friends aren’t subscribed, and if they are, they aren’t really committed to the idea of playing for various reasons. I understand, so I started looking for a new group to run with, and then I was reminded of why I felt so lucky in the first place to find the group I did a year ago.

Otome City Survey

I just got a comment from Ally on my About page asking for feedback in a survey that they have going. Ally is part of the Otome City team and they are starting development on an otome project. I figured I’d do what I could to support otome game developers out there and share this so that they can get more survey information :).

A Guide to Koyonplete Cell Phone Novels

If you’ve searched “otome games” in the mobile app store, you’ve probably run across multiple free “games” by Koyonplete. They are not actually games–instead, they’re cell phone novels that you can either pay to read or read for free by earning “jewels” every day.
